“ Amazing food, some of the best Chinese we’ve had in the UK. Mostly dishes you won’t find in most British Chinese restaurants, some of them would be for adventurous eaters! The lady running it was happy to adapt one of the dishes for me because I don’t eat eggs, which was very welcome. Can’t wait to get back to Newcastle and eat here again! ”
“ Cash only. Truly excellent experience, probably Newcastle’s most authentic Chinese experience and it’s not even in Chinatown I had the braised beef and wonton noodle soup. It was amazing. I got the small version because I’d read on GMaps that the portion sizes were massive and Google was right, the large would have simply been too much. Small was more than enough unless you are truly truly starving, I would suggest you get a small portion if you get a soup noodle dish. I got the scallion pancakes as a side dish, those and the beef noodle fish, both were exquisite. I shall 100% be coming back. The price is amazing and the volume of food that you get is brilliant and the service was fantastic. This is my new favourite Chinese place in Newcastle. Important to note. This venue is CASH ONLY. ”

“ Inside the restaurant is very basic and nothing special but the food overall was delicious and very cheap. In particular, I would highly recommend the pan-fried scallion pancakes, although it does require a soy sauce dip, in my opinion, which is available near the counter (self-service). The pancake surface is very crispy and has a good texture. I also ordered the biang biang noodles. Although I ordered a small size, the portion size was still pretty big as the bowl was full with the hand pulled delicious noodles. I have had slightly better flavoured ones, but for the portion size and price, I can't complain, and these were also pretty decent. I would definitely like to return again if I am in Newcastle. ”
“ We came here in the afternoon on a weekday, and the restaurant was packed to the brim with patrons! Just look at the menu! Their specialty is indeed the noodles, and it really is delicious! I ordered the Spicy Beef Shin Noodle. Tender beef chunks with a rich broth, and tangy noodles ( I believe they are hand-made in this restaurant. Correct me if I'm wrong). Spicy, and incredibly rich with Umami. For Chinese noodles, here's the spot not to miss in Newcastle! ”
